Best friend is only a fictional character

Did I just made up those thoughts that I have that ever so reliable friend?

Its just a flicker of my imagination that I almost had the sister that I wished for my entire life.

I woke up, finding out that I never really had any.

I need to move on, find someone. Not the best friend that I thought I have but a true friend. A friend that I can be with not only for the good times, but also through the days of misery.

Can I do that?
